Guided by her family’s love of the outdoors and inspired by her own children, Charné created this book to grow with young readers, inviting families everywhere to explore, learn, and enjoy together.
About Charné
Charné Baird, a commercial photographer with over ten years of experience, combines her creative eye and passion for the outdoors to create her first children’s book, Elk Valley Alphabet Adventures. Inspired by her family’s love of the outdoors and her children, she set out to make a local children’s book that encourages young readers to explore, learn, and enjoy together. When she’s not behind the camera or writing, you’ll find her biking, running, swimming, skiing, or simply enjoying what Fernie and the Elk Valley have to offer.
